The precautions when radio shuttle is used in the cold storage

Radio shuttle racks are popular among many industrials such as in the logistics, warehousing and manufacturing industries due to its unique storage advantages and low overall cost. The shuttle can be used not only in normal temperature warehouses, but also in cold warehouses with tens of degrees below zero. The cost of space in a cold storage is higher than that of an ordinary warehouse, so it is necessary to increase the space utilization as much as possible. Compared with ordinary pallet racks, the radio shuttle racking can better increase the storage density, maximize the space utilization in the height direction, and avoid the personnel working in low temperature for a long time, ensuring the safety of the personnel.

The temperature in the cold storage is generally -25-30℃. Compared with the traditional shuttle racking system in the low-temperature cold storage environment, the radio shuttle will have some improvements in design, and many parts need to be resistant to low temperatures.

The EBIL TECH radio shuttle is designed with full consideration of the characteristics of the material at low temperatures, electrical moisture and vapor insulation, to ensure the normal operation of the shuttle car.

How to better use the EBIL TECH radio shuttle in the cold storage?

1)The radio shuttle should be charged in the cold storage buffer zone -5℃;

2)When the radio shuttle is not in use, please place it in the cold storage buffer zone at about -5°C;

3) In order to avoid dew in the battery and cause a short circuit, all shuttle cars, chargers, and batteries, after entering the cold storage, please do not place them outdoors (if the outdoor environment is above zero)

4) The normal temperature type of the shuttle bus is in the cold storage. When it is not used for more than 4 hours, the lithium battery may not be easily discharged due to the low temperature. It needs to be returned to the cold storage buffer at about -5°C. Manual operation, so that the battery can be discharged gradually, and then return to the cold storage for use after the discharge is normal;

5) The battery in the cold storage has a discharge capacity of about 70-80% of the rated capacity and is charged at least once every 5-6 hours.

Radio shuttle characteristics:

1. Realize the highest intensive storage of pallet goods, and significantly reduce warehouse construction costs

2. Goods are first-in-first-out, first-in-last-out, free choice

3. Realize the function of drive-in shelf but no need to drive in, high efficiency of import and export4. The anti-seismic safety performance is much higher than that of the drive-in rack
