Shuttle ASRS belongs to a semi-automated three-dimensional warehouse, which is composed of shuttle, three-dimensional shelves and forklifts, which is a low-cost, high-density storage method. In the past, the shuttle car ran on the ASRS shelf in the way of repeat or loop, and the shelf had the function of cargo storage and guide rail, transporting the goods to the designated place or connecting equipment, and realizing the storage and retrieval of goods to the shelf position.

The height of the shuttle ASRS is generally 7-12 meters, the forklift does not need to enter the roadway when the goods are accessed, as long as the shuttle is placed in the roadway where the goods need to be accessed, the shuttle is controlled by the handheld remote control to complete the access operation, which can improve the safety of personnel and goods, and the efficiency of goods in the warehouse is greatly improved, suitable for different types of products, and can be accessed flexibly in layers.

Shuttle ASRS is mainly suitable for the access of large quantities and varieties of goods, which can improve the space utilization rate of the warehouse, reduce the land investment cost, and have the characteristics of high efficiency and low investment cost. It can realize first-in-first-out (FIFO) and first-in-last-out (FILO) of goods, which is suitable for both low-flow, high-density storage and high-flow, high-density storage, especially suitable for food, beverage, tobacco and other industries with relatively single categories.

In the shuttle ASRS, the relayer change operation of the shuttle is another key to the three-dimensional warehouse system, which is completed by the hoist. The layer change hoist is composed of base, column, drive mechanism, cargo platform, safety device, etc. When the shuttle needs to switch between different cargo levels, the shuttle first drives into the cargo platform of the changeover hoist, and the hoist completes the work of rising or falling under the control of the system.
